POLICIES
Kid Kountry, like all companies, has policies. Ours are designed for the child's safety, the parent's reassurance and the staff's professionalism. You are guaranteeing a place in our program for your child when you register. When you pay your fees each month, you are continuing to guarantee that your child has a place in Kid Kountry.
transportation
We take weekly field trips and all children will be transported in our vans. In case of an emergency, at times your child may need to be transported by an staff member in their car. We follow the state car seat regulations and each child under 60 lbs will be in a car seat.
KEEP US INFORMED
All information on the enrollment and emergency form must be kept current for the safety of your child. It is the responsibility of the parent to let Kid Kountry know of changes such as:
- Phone and address changes of emergency contacts, parents, guardians and work place.
- Name, address and phone number of child's physician.
- Important changes in the home situation or unusual events in the child's family life.
- Medical changes such as allergies.
RELEASE OF CHILD
Our concern for the safety and security of your child at all times dictates certain procedures for releasing children. It is the parents responsibility to provide Kid Kountry Child Development Center with the names and telephone numbers of persons authorized to bring or pick up your child. It is the parent or guardian's responsibility to notify the Center in writing of any changes in this authorization.
Kid Kountry will release children to authorized persons only if the parents have notified the facility either in person or by phone, that the authorized person is to pick up their child. Staff is required to request photo identification so please tell your authorized persons to come with appropriate identification.
OPEN DOOR POLICY
Kid Kountry has an open door policy. All families are welcome to visit and participate at their convenience. In fact, we encourage your family to visit whenever possible. Further, we eagerly invite community members to join us as active volunteers and/or observers.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Kid Kountry believes that parents are the most significant adults in a child's life. We encourage parental involvement and input. However, when the teaching specialist is working with the children please do not feel slighted when the emphasis continues to be on the children. If you have questions, ideas or concerns please arrange an appointment with the teaching specialist at a separate time. This will give you privacy and our total focus towards your concerns. The Director or Assistant Director will also be happy to arrange a convenient time to meet with you. Parent involvement is very important and at Kid Kountry we provide many opportunities for this. Following are some of the ways that you can become involved.
