Hours

Normal hours of operation are from 6:45am to 5:30pm. The School Age center’s hours are 6:45am – 5:45pm. We schedule staff to coincide with these times.

Our program concludes at the above stated times and children must be picked up by the listed times or there will be a late charge so that the education specialist can be compensated for the interruption to the close of her day. Failure to respect these hours is considered disrespect of our staff. Respect is the key to our success and your failure to show respect will result in termination of our child development services.

Our facilities are closed on New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day & the day after, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve, Christmas and the day after.

FALL / SPRING PRESCHOOL SCHEDULE

6:30-8:30Free play for all preschoolers
(child directed with building materials, free art, dramatic play, and games)Please see free play information sheet.
8:30-9:00Separate into classrooms and eat morning snack.
(Children learn to pour and pass to other children. This is a time for child conversation.)
9:00-9:30Outside time
(child directed)
(or gross motor when weather does not permit outdoor play) (This is a time to get our energy out and build on our gross motor skills by running, climbing, etc.)
9:30-11:30Preschool time
(adult directed & child directed circle time, art, sensory, music & movement, science, story time show & tell, hands on number & letter activities, field trips (Fridays), and theme discussion)
11:30-12:00Lunchtime
(Children learn to pour and pass to other children. This is a social time for children.)
12:00-1:00Outside or Gross motor activity
(child directed)
(or gross motor when weather does not permit outdoor play) (This is a time to get our energy out and build on our gross motor skills by running, climbing, etc.)
1:00- 1:30Story time
(Adult directed) each child will have a story read to them or we also read as a group.
(child directed) we sing song that the children like to sing and they also participate in reading books.
1:30-3:30Rest time
(after story time each child has a choice to have their back rubbed.)
3:30-4:00Free play

4:00-4:30Snack time.
